Our experience with Parent Custom Homes was wonderful.  We honestly can say that if we ever moved or built another house we would choose them.  I think that is not always the case with many other builders.  Everyone who works at Parent were great and so easy to communicate with.  We had such a great experience that we have kept in touch and even begged them to be our neighbors!  We LOVE our home and living in so many houses through the years, we appreciate the beautiful quality of our home.

We were first unsure if we should be adding on/remodeling our home on the lake, or if we should demolish and build what we really wanted.  The second question we had was who could we work with "long distance" since we live full time in Illinois.  Brent Parent made our decisions much easier!  I had been through one of his homes during a Parade of Homes, and really liked it, and gave him a call with some questions.  He is an incredible down to earth guy that truly loves what he does.  He helped us from day one, getting us in touch with the right people to answer the questions we had.  His knowledge and networking in his business is incredible.  We did decide to do a complete demolish, and build our "dream home".  Brent put us in touch with a home designer that helped us design the perfect home for our lot and our life style.  Long distance was not a problem, Brent was on top of everything, and when he says " I build it like it is my own", he does really mean it.  We absolutely love our home, two years later, and still say, "man I love this place".  The workmanship is outstanding, we could not be happier with how our whole experience has turned out.  We would and DO highly recommend Parent Custom Homes.

We started the homebuiliding process by interviewing 6 different builders and it was clear that Parent Custom Homes was the best choice in building our new house.  Parent Custom Homes was the right choice because of the quality of the work that we've consistently seen during the Parade of Homes and other Parent Custom homes visits. We would also like to recognize Jr who played such an important role in our homebuilding process.
